妄想女子とアニメの融合　「人生ベストテン」　Girl’s Fantasy + Animation “Jinsei Best Ten”

「大人女子のアニメタイム～人生ベストテン」の主人公鳩子は、お金も社会的地位もあるけど、最近、弱気になりがち。独身のまま40歳を迎えることが大きな要因です。行動する前に何パターンもの「こう見られたい自分」を妄想するなど、心の中と見た目のギャップは大。そんな鳩子の心の中をコミカルに描いた場面はこの作品の大きな見どころです。上は作画監督の永作友克さんによる鳩子の「歓喜♡」の心模様（どういう状況かは放送で！）。目にも止まらぬ速さで腕が伸びたり、クネクネしたり、ありえないポーズの連続。「鳩子の感情をそのまま、体を大きく使ったハデな動きで、マンガチックに表現した」とのことです。作品中の数々の妄想シーンでも、鳩子の「理想の自分」をコミカルに、アニメならではの表現で見せています。

そんなありえないポーズや動きですが、気持ち的には「アリ！」と共感したりします。そう言えば、90年代末から人気を博した「アリーmyラブ」という米国ドラマの主人公も妄想癖の持ち主。いい男を見ると、舌がCGで50センチ位伸びるなど、こちらもありえないけど、気持ち的にはアリ。女子の妄想癖は世界共通？！「ありえないけど、アリ！」なのが、大人女子アニメ的表現なのかもしれません。

おかしく、切ない応援歌！　「人生ベストテン」　Tears and Smiles “Jinsei Best Ten”

「大人女子のアニメタイム」はまだ生まれたばかりの番組ですが、3/17(日）放送の　「人生ベストテン」(原作 角田光代さん）は初のコメディ作品。ただし、そこは「大人女子」…たくさん笑った分、痛みも伴うもの。　40歳目前の独身OLの同窓会の顛末を描いた原作は、主人公の淡々とした語りで進みますが、彼女の行動や心の動きがあまりにも「わかる」ので、思わず吹き出してしまいます。「素敵な私」を演出するつもりが、逆に相手の「素敵」演出(or 本物の「素敵」）に負けてしまったりとか…似たような体験ありませんか？左のコピーの通り「なぜ私のことがわかるの？」と感じる場面がいっぱい。

「人生ベストテン」をアニメ化するにあたって、大人女子の「あるある」の心の中をふんだんに描くことに挑戦しました。真剣だからこそ、おかしくて、切ない…。脚本家の吉田玲子さんは、「大人女子への応援歌」と言っていました！

Otona Joshi no Anime Time～Animation for Grown up GIRLS

Otona Joshi no Anime Time is an animation program targeted to women above 30  called Otona Joshi. The word Otona Joshi literally means grown up girls, and the word represents women who are eager to grow, learn, stay pretty and fashionable, enjoy life, seeking real love etc…regardless of their ages and their social status(single, married, with kids, no kids etc…). Therefore, Otona Joshi no Anime Time literally means Animation Time For Grown up Girls.

Each show presents 25 min. complete short story based on works  by award winning & best selling female novelists in Japan.  The show visualizes deep and ambivalent feelings of women in beautiful animation, a marriage of Japanese literature and animation! In each story, you may find part of yourself.

The idea was proposed by Curiouscope,  and is co-produced with NHK Enterprises and NHK.

In her new life with him, she finds reasons for living. Tender and erotic love story written by novelist Eimi Yamada. A story about a single career woman who is becoming 40. Though her life seems decent, she feels that she hasn’t achieved anything in 40 years. The most brilliant event in her life is the kiss with her first boy friend when she was 13…nothing more dramatic happened since then. Today, she’s going to a reunion with a big expectation to meet first boyfriend for the first time in 25 years. A comical and a bittersweet story. A story about a 43 year-old typical housewife with 2 children. She does everything the right way, but  never gets  the right result. Her life is full of  annoyances…her husband is laid off, her old mothers calls her everyday to grumble, harassed at part time job… But she’s not even angry because her feeling is always drifting. After having a crucial conflict with her teenage daughter, she finds a clue to make her life worth living.  A quiet but an encouraging story. 「主人公はもう一人のあなた・・・」文学とアニメの融合

今回の「大人女子のアニメタイム」の3作品の原作は、山田詠美さん、角田光代さん、山本文緒さんの作品。皆さん直木賞作家であり、人気、実力共にトップの作家さんたちです。すぐれた短編小説の魅力は、何回読んでも新しい発見があったり、まるで自分の気持ちを言い当ててるような文章に出会えたりすることだと思います。その文章にまた会いたいがために、本を開くなんてことも。今回の3作品が収められている短編集はそういう言葉にあふれています。 「大人女子のアニメタイム」では、各原作の文体やリズムを最大限生かして脚本にし、主人公の語りで展開する構成になっています。ですので、アニメーション映像でドラマを楽しみつつ、短編小説を読んでいるようなとても個人的な時間を過ごせる番組を目指しています。この番組の隠しテーマは「主人公はもう一人のあなたかもしれない」。きっと、繰り返し見たくなる大好きな場面と大好きな言葉に出会えるはずです！
